Senior Travel Experiences Manager

We’re looking for 3 highly motivated individuals with on-road or exceptional operational and product expertise, to join our Travel Experiences team. You’ll work in a truly global environment to deliver the best travel experiences in the business. We are looking for travel leaders capable of managing important decision-making teams that will affect the design and delivery of tours. You will lead the Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Costsaver brands with in-depth knowledge in the regions you manage.

Regional Breakdown 

We’re looking for one Senior Manager in each of the following regional breakdown:

  • UK & Ireland, Discoveries (incl. Benelux)
  • Italy, Northern Europe and France
  • Iberia, Eastern Europe and Alpine

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manages a team including Travel Experiences Manager, Supervisor, Executive and 2 or 3 Specialists
  • Makes strategic recommendations for series level changes
  • Manages training for sales and marketing teams
  • Assist in developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies
  • Facilitate workshops with the team to foster creative ideas and solutions required within the region.
  • Ensures series level information is correct on brochure, website and guest documents
  • Ensures series level information is correct on technical itineraries
  • Is the key contact for marketing for tours in their area
  • Is the key contact for SRMs for Series level changes
  • Responsible to ensure Tropics is correct for all seasons
  • Source new “Pillar” dining experiences
  • Source new optional dining and other experiences for all brands
  • Lead special projects throughout the year on behalf of Travel Experiences team
  • Provides leadership role during crisis management in their region

  • On Road experience required
  • Aptitude or experience in leading teams
  • A strong background in Europe product development or operations
  • Additional European languages (particularly Italian, Spanish or French) highly regarded

Travel & Other Requirements

  • International Travel is required for this role
  • Hybrid working arrangement to include 3 day a week in our London office
