Regional Sales Manager, Midlands & Wales (UK)


We are looking for an experienced, results-driven, strategic and passionate regional Sales Manager to help grow our ever-expanding business across the UK for TTC Tour Brands. We are seeking someone looking to combine their love of travel & passion for sales and can find meaningful ways to build connections with both our trade partners and direct customers.


  • Managing and growing the sales of TTC Tour Brands: Contiki, Costsaver, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Trafalgar across the Midlands and Wales
  • Managing Key Account relationships to develop trade sales and assisting with partner head office relationships as appropriate
  • Promotion of multi-branded products including the introduction of new products through agent training, client presentations and product information sessions
  • Coordinating and hosting regular events -virtual and in person - for both agents and direct consumers
  • Assist in the development of trade sales collateral & training materials
  • Development and implementation of effective sales strategies in conjunction with the UK Head of Sales to drive growth of guest numbers & revenue in the UK
  • Prepare regular sales reports and maintain accurate record of sales activities. The ability to run & understand reports, review and analyse data is essential for decision making.
  • Work closely with the UK team to ensure the TTC Tour Brands core values are delivered.
  • Stay abreast of competitor information and updated on trends within the industry. Provide regular feedback to senior management team with respect to trends and opportunities whilst ascertaining market information relevant to our business
  • Actively identify and seek out new business development opportunities such as new agencies, custom groups, local business employee benefit schemes, students/universities/colleges, local clubs and organisations 
  • Negotiate and close agreements within a commercial framework and implement integrated sales, marketing and training programmes in order that they deliver
  • Other duties as required and assigned


  • Geographically based in the Midlands
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK travel trade industry
  • A strong presenter, trainer and relationship builder
  • Self-motivated and can work autonomously
  • A target-driven attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, have good organisational and planning skills, and the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in the execution of planned activity.
  • The ability to influence at all levels, coupled with exceptional communication skills
  • Fluent English language speaker (other European language skills an advantage)
  • Travel - able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Overnight travel will be required on a regular basis along with overseas travel as necessary. Periodic travel to our London-based head office will also be required


  • At least 2 years sales experience, demonstrating proven sales success
  • Previous experience as a travel agent or within a travel agency beneficial
  • Previous experience as a sales manager also advantageous


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - in particular Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Ability to use Excel spreadsheets to store and manipulate account data.
  • The ability to use Salesforce is an advantage
  • Full clean driving license
