Content Coordinator

Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Costsaver have an opportunity to join the Travel Experiences team as a Content Coordinator.  The team is at the forefront of tourism, creating exciting new travel experiences globally. We're looking for an articulate administrator who knows their "they're" from their "there". In this role, you will be working with the small team in a worldwide capacity to communicate the dynamic changes we're implementing to make our brands better than ever. If you don't know something, you aren't afraid to find out. You will be creative in your communication style and love to write about your favourite topic: travel!

Role Description: Reporting to the Content Manager, you will be integral in creating, updating and maintaining our Content Management System (C1). The system populates itinerary information and guest documentation information for guided tours across the world. The right person for the role has exceptional command of written English, high attention to detail, and an ability to work to tight deadlines. The position will work closely with our Travel Experiences Managers to ensure that the wonderful experiences we source are marketed in the best possible way. 

Base: London TTC Office, 15 Grosvenor Place

Reports to: Content Manager - Travel Experiences, dotted line to either the Eastern or Western Europe Travel Experiences Manager

Contract: Permanent Full time, 3 month probation

Scope: The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of Travel Experiences development and they will maintain the Content Management System. They will work closely with either the East or West Europe Travel Experiences Manager, and provide support to the Ground Handler and/or the Luxury Gold Travel Experiences Managers to ensure all content is correct at all times, and is delivered in a timely manner.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Maintain content about our itineraries in C1 (Umbraco) which populates the brochure, website and guest documentation
  • Work closely with marketing copy writers implementing brand messaging and terminology to itinerary content
  • Proof brochure pages, website content and guest documentation
  • Create Tropics (Trip management software) build instructions from East and West Europe Travel Experiences Managers and ensure Tropics matches C1
  • Maintain Airtable to ensure our audiences have a resource to learn about trips
  • Create internal marketing to promote and inform on new and existing products in the form of presentations, leaflets and a Product Update document
  • Compile statistical data in Excel eg tour sales figures or brochure content analysis
  • Compile competitor analysis statistics
  • Assist the team with project work as necessary
  • Liaise with suppliers and places of interest to incorporate in Travel Experiences
  • Create departure date charts and documents to prepare for our yearly travel experiences meetings

Key skills and experience:

  • Excellent command of written English
  • General office administration (high level competency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Proven track record of a high attention to detail
  • A questioning mind - looking for anomalies and searching to correct them
  • Excellent systems management (ability to pick up new systems including Umbraco, Tropics, and others quickly)
  • Data entry experience at high speed with high accuracy preferred
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • A fast learner
