Supplier Relationship Manager–Experiences

Initially the role will entail continuing our relationship with existing suppliers (negotiating rates, managing contracts, inputting all relevant information into our systems), but in the longer term you will be looking at the creation and procurement of several new experiences, activities and dining options that happen for our Travel Corporation Asia Guests on our EMEA itineraries. You will be working on high value agreements with on-brand dining options and experiential venues, to ensure that these are of the quality and location to satisfy the specific demands of our Guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be able to manage multiple suppliers simultaneously, either remotely or in situ, attend Trade shows and supplier functions while ensuring that all contracts are finished within deadlines and meeting the required expectations 
  • Understand and manage our clients’ specific contracting briefs/guidelines 
  • Keep abreast of market trends in your regions and have strong commercial awareness; currency fluctuations, economic and political situations that may affect business. Awareness of future events that may affect the destination and product delivery 
  • Understand your assigned contracting regions, understand your supplier landscape and the competitive landscape by researching and inspecting all applicable services, keeping up to date with product, quality and service standards, services used by competitors, strong competitor awareness 
  • Work closely with our Sales offices in Asia which oversees creating the overall product  
  • Work closely with internal departments to keep current with any service delivery issues; and keep them up to date clearly and concisely, with the current supplier situation in your areas of responsibility 

Experience and Skills 

  • Proven track record of negotiating and implementing contracts within EMEA for Asian markets advantageous  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship building skills 
  • Strong organisational and administration skills, planning and good time management 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to understand the need to meet agreed targets and deadlines whilst remaining positive, confident, and approachable  
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (O365, TEAMS, Word, Excel & Outlook) 
  • Full and clean driving licence
